One of the most essential resources in any business is top talent.

This doesn’t just mean high performers, but also those with the ability to lead,

forward plan and not only service the company’s current needs, but also anticipate its future.

And, of course, this isn’t simply a case of hiring the right people,

although this is an essential ingredient in retaining top talent;

A prime example is the recent news from Amazon. In early February,

Amazon’s Founder and CEO Jeff Bezos caused shockwaves by unexpectedly announcing that,

after nearly two decades of helming the multinational e-commerce giant,

he plans to step down from his role in Q3 of 2021.
