Diversity and inclusion (D&I) enable organizations to be more inclusive of various ideas, cultures, and lifestyles, which improves workplace culture.   • Adopt an Inclusive and Diverse Approach: Diverse employees are happier and healthier, consumers feel more valued, and managers have more talent. Diverse organizations are 35% more likely to outperform, while gender-diverse companies are 15% more likely to do so.
  • Increase Productivity While Maintaining Diversity: D&I initiatives create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can offer their best ideas and abilities. A company’s success relies on its capacity to innovate and develop new solutions. To do this, you need a creative, diverse workforce. By 2025, the workforce will be 75% millennials, driving D&I forward. 47% of millennials actively want diversity in the workplace, according to a 2016 survey.
  • Create An Inclusive Environment: Companies must have inclusive policies and practices. This requires hiring and measuring a diverse workforce. Creating a varied employee resource group is one way to increase inclusion initiatives.
  • Keep a tab on D&I Efforts: Diversity can be measured using metrics that monitor the composition of a company’s executive team. Through resources such as employee groups, institutions can track their progress toward becoming more diverse and inclusive. Companies that embrace diversity tend to reach a wider audience.
